THIS SAGE SOIL

THIS SAGE SOIL

The ground is wrapped in its soft blanket to feel warm. This pregnant soil knows what will be born. A barefooted child waters a plant to get corn. When this child is grown up the grain will be gold. The soil is never sick as it can hardly catch a cold. A small seed seems to be bold. A root is too strong to be torn. The ground may wash its face in a rainstorm. This sage soil will keep the ground warm.
